SLRW which is short for Savage Lock Ring Wrench. This unique tool is the only one of its kind currently on the market. This tool is a "Must Have" for doing Savage "Smooth Nut" Barrel work, such as: Re-Barreling, Muzzle Threading or adjusting Headspace. The all steel construction make it durable, with a brass shim to protect the finish on your lock ring.

The durable design will stand up to hard use by a Professional Gunsmith but the ease of use and price make it an affordable tool for the gun hobbyist.

This SLRW was designed specifically for use on the following models with a Smooth 1.345" Barrel Nut:

Savage Short Actions (Model 10, 12, 16 etc)

Savage Long Actions (Model 110, 112, 116 etc)

Savage Axis Short or Long Actions

Mossberg Patriot Rifles

May work on other models with the same size lock ring.
